Neon Garden
WOODPATEL provided civil engineering and surveying services for the Neon Garden, a transformative mixed-use development in the heart of downtown Mesa, Arizona. This vibrant urban infill project blends residential, retail, and public gathering spaces with an emphasis on walkability, sustainability, and modern design.
Working closely with the City of Mesa, project architects, and the developer, WOODPATEL led the civil engineering design including grading and drainage, utility coordination, water and sewer infrastructure, and roadway improvements. The firm’s in-house surveying team supported the project from initial boundary and topographic surveys through final construction staking.
Given the site’s downtown location, WOODPATEL’s team navigated complex utility coordination and existing infrastructure constraints, ensuring minimal disruption to neighboring properties and traffic flow. Innovative stormwater management solutions were designed to meet City requirements while enhancing the site’s landscape and usability.
Neon Garden now stands as a key piece of Mesa’s downtown revitalization, offering a lively and inclusive space for residents and visitors alike. WOODPATEL is honored to have played a vital role in bringing this vision to life.
