We currently have openings for full time Civil 3D Designers and Design Engineers in our Phoenix or Mesa office who will work within a team in our Land Development Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with Project Manager/Engineer to design sites and subdivisions including roadways, utilities and flood control systems.
• Prepare construction documents anticipating project needs and deliverables.
• Create and maintain the geometric and utility base files with given criteria.
• Create and maintain the horizontal alignment and vertical database files.
• Develop profiles, corridors, surfaces and earthworks using Civil 3D.
• Modify construction documents to reflect agency review comments.
• Produce quantities and cost estimates.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Civil 3D.
• Experience developing construction plans for sites and subdivision’s including roadways, grading, drainage, water and sewer systems.
• Must have strong drafting and plan production background.
• Must be familiar with MAG standard details and local agency standard details.
• Must be detail oriented and very well organized.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Ability to delegate drafting production to CAD personnel.
• Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.

We currently have openings for full-time CAD Technicians in our Phoenix or Mesa office who will work within a team in our Land Development Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assembling construction plans and assisting the design team to submit to reviewing agencies.
- Using company CAD standards to prepare electronic drawings from marked-up plans and/or verbal instruction by engineers/designers.
- Organizing and scheduling work to achieve goals on projects within established budgets and timelines.
- Coordination with engineers and other design team members.
- Publishing/Plotting plans and exhibits as needed.
- Carries out a variety, and sometimes novel or complex drafting assignments using independent judgement and initiative.
- May provide guidance and/or review work of lower-level CAD operators.
- Under general supervision, perform various manual drafting tasks including revisions and as-builts relating to civil engineering/land surveying plan preparation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Civil3D
- Must possess application knowledge of Civil3D and AutoCAD software including the use of model, paper space, plotting functions, and other civil engineering elements.
- Must have strong drafting background.
- Must be detail oriented and very well organized.
