ASU University Gateway Building & Mill Ave Parking Structure

WOODPATEL has a long history on this site, working with ASU and the City of Tempe. The Mill Avenue Parking Structure (MAPS) provides six parking levels (1,205 parking spaces) for the OMNI Tempe Hotel and paid spaces serving ASU students, faculty, and the public. The University Gateway Building "wraps" the west face of the parking structure, bringing more retail and restaurants to Mill Avenue on the ground level while serving the university with four floors for academic programs. The five-level, 128,000 SF building is unique because it is only 70 feet deep and nearly 400 feet long.

Supplemental Services:
  • Offsite public sewer extension in Mill Avenue
  • Offsite chilled water extension in 10th Street
  • Conceptual Design & Development Plan for 9th, 10th, and Myrtle Avenue Right-of-Way
  • Conceptual Design & Development Plan for the 40-foot area east of the proposed parking structure.
  • WOODPATEL submitted improvement plans to ASU, the City of Tempe, and the Maricopa County Environmental Services Department.
