JEFFREY MINCH, PE, CFM
Jeff is a Principal and Vice President managing the public works water resources department for WOODPATEL since 2005. He applies his technical and business expertise, quality control, and leadership to our client’s projects. His experience includes planning studies; flood insurance studies; river mechanics; bridge waterways analyses; levee and bank protection design; dam rehabilitation design; hydraulic structure design; highway drainage design; and NEPA projects. Jeff is the Engineer of Record on more than $16M in studies and the design of more than $500M in public works flood control and drainage infrastructure projects throughout Arizona.
For eight years, Jeff was a major part of the ADOT General Consultant team, an extension of ADOT staff, managing and developing the drainage design for the MAG regional freeway system for which he received a Certificate of Appreciation from the ADOT Director. Jeff also spent the early part of his career preparing H&H and sediment transport studies and designs for the Salt River channelization through Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa.
Jeff is the coauthor or contributing author on five articles/studies published by Civil Engineering Magazine, ASDSO, and the Arizona Transportation Research Center. Three of his projects received ACEC Engineering Excellence awards.
