Valley Metro Rail Northwestern Extension II

WOODPATEL was involved in inspection of the City of Phoenix water, sewer, and storm drain relocations for The Northwest Extension Phase II project which connects Valley Metro's light rail system from 19th and Dunlap Avenues and extends it 1.6 miles to the former Metrocenter Mall area in Phoenix. The project also added three new stations, including the system's first elevated station, rail-only bridge across the I-17 freeway as well as public art.
WOODPATEL was involved in the inspections of The South Central Light Rail Extension/Downtown Hub Project which included a 5.5-mile southern extension of Valley Metro’s light rail system between downtown Phoenix and the South Mountain Village Core via Central Avenue and 1st Avenue. The Project includes eight stations, one special use platform, additional trackwork in downtown Phoenix, expansion of the existing Operations and Maintenance Center (OMC) and construction of a park and ride lot with a total of 110 parking spaces.
