WOODPATEL provided survey and civil engineering design services for the 150,000 square-foot Phase II expansion of the Norterra Office Complex located on 12-acres in Phoenix along I-17 at Happy Valley Road. WOODPATEL has been involved in the design process from preliminary design through final approved construction documents. Preliminary engineering responsibilities for this project included a full-site drainage study; water and sewer basis of design reports; and preliminary grading, drainage, and utility plans. Construction documents included grading, drainage, water, sewer, and storm water management plans with post-design assistance for bidding, construction staking, construction observation and shop drawing approvals. This is a unique project that required extensive coordination with the master developer, City of Phoenix, and the Arizona Department of Transportation due to frontage road modifications.

WOODPATEL is also involved in the early planning stages of Phase III on this same campus, which will consist of another 150,000 square-feet of development on 8 acres.
