Park Central Mall Redevelopment

WOODPATEL is the master planning civil engineer for this historic property converted to a creative office campus, led by the Plaza Companies & Holualoa. This design-build team put together a master plan that facilitated and promoted the culture of health and sustainability. The project’s goals were to strengthen the Park Central presence & brand along Central Avenue and establish a shaded civic connection while adapting existing spaces into flexible tech office hubs that support retail and restaurant use. WOODPATEL provided master planning, site development, grading, drainage, and hardscape coordination, providing tempered outdoor social spaces which leverage our unique desert climate, enhancing opportunities to work and play outdoors for over 17 acres in the urban core of Central Phoenix.
