Reserve at Red Rock
Reserve at Red Rock is a high-quality, gated, resort-lifestyle residential community with a contemporary desert aesthetic. The main design objective was to celebrate the natural desert setting with conscious awareness to create opportunities to appreciate mountain views of Red Mountain and distant Camelback and McDowell Mountains.
The project consisted of dramatic gated entrances, single-family detached homes, neighborhood recreational amenities, and a network of common area open spaces and trails that weave throughout the community. Reserve at Red Rock incorporates a series of recreation trails within the gated community leading to a prominent recreational area, including a pool, a clubhouse, a residents’ club, and sports courts.
The design team took special attention during the design process to create as many premium home sites as possible, backing to open space and taking advantage of the natural desert setting and mountain views. In addition, the community works with the existing terrain to preserve the two existing jurisdictional delineated washes on-site, minimizing the impact and disturbance to the natural environment and incorporating the beauty of the desert in the overall theme for Reserve at Red Rock. WOODPATEL services included data collection and research, topographical surveys, an ALTA survey, site and utility planning, master drainage report, grading and earthwork analysis, roadway design and final plat.
