Paradise Valley Mall Redevelopment

The City of Phoenix heard and approved a request to rezone approximately 90 acres at the NWC of Tatum Boulevard and Cactus Road. The property’s proposed redevelopment is from Regional Shopping Center, Planned Community District to Intermediate Commercial, High Rise, Density Waiver, Special Permit, and Planned Community District turning the Paradise Valley Mall into a vibrant, high-quality mixed-use development. The redevelopment will include a total of 6.5 million square feet comprised of retail, grocery, restaurants, multifamily, office, self-storage, and more. The multifamily portion will contain approximately 2,500 units and 3.25 million square feet leaving another 3.25 million square feet for non-residential uses. Buildings within the ring road surrounding the existing mall will have a maximum building height of 120 feet, while buildings outside the ring road will have a maximum height of 85 feet.
WOODPATEL provided site due diligence, research and field investigation, land survey assistance and ALTA review, and overall site drainage. Additionally, we provided preliminary grading, drainage, and water and sewer plans.
