Mockingbird Lane & 56th Street

The Town of Paradise Valley felt the neighborhood required transportation and drainage enhancements. The project consisted of upgrades to a public roadway that deteriorated, pavement restoration needed, and hardscape and landscape enhancement. A traffic circle facilitates vehicular flow and improves overall circulation. The area was experiencing a nuisance of roadway drainage. The WOODPATEL solution was to create a 10-year low-flow box culvert crossing to allow the nuisance drainage to pass. The City of Phoenix services the area with water and wastewater. As part of this intragovernmental project, we also designed the relocation of a 12-inch water distribution main and an 8-inch sanitary sewer line. We provided construction management services to ensure compliance and timely project completion through final construction.
