WOODPATEL, as the civil engineering consultant, provided services for the 9-acre industrial chemical handling facility located at the northwest corner of Mountain and Pecos Roads. Initial services began with entitlements and infrastructure assessment. Continued collaboration with the architect proceeded through the schematic phase to final engineering and permitting. In addition, civil engineering services have included four supplementary stages of building additions. Most critical to the design is the routing and handling of off-site watershed constraints provided by WOODPATEL. This study entailed evaluating and coordinating with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on Section 404 and design for a strategic channel and retention basin to route off-site flows separately from on-site retention requirements.
