McDonald’s Restaurants

Wood/Patel was the civil engineer of record for multiple McDonalds Restaurants new builds and site renovations. Our services typically included land survey, preliminary design, final construction documents and owner support during construction. In addition, Wood/Patel completed McDonald’s Corporation Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) compliance training to assist with development and implementation of their National Pre-Construction and Post-Construction ADA Audit program. On-site assessments were conducted by the team prior to several restaurants’ opening dates. Detailed measurement and barrier reports were prepared and submitted to McDonald’s based on our knowledge of Title II and Title III of the ADA. Wood/Patel was responsible for tracking and follow-up action until each site was determined to be in compliance with ADA requirements.
