Greenfield Road & Chandler Heights Improvement
WOODPATEL provided full project construction management and civil engineering inspection services to the Town of Gilbert for the Chandler Heights & Greenfield Road Improvements project. This Construction Manager at Risk (CM@R) project included the complete reconstruction of over three and a half miles of existing roadway along Chandler Heights Road between Rockwell Road and Val Vista Drive, and along Greenfield Road between Chandler Heights Road and Queen Creek Road. The improvements include the installation of over one mile of 16” water, one and a half mile of 12” reclaimed water and ¾ mile of 10” sewer, relocation/reconstruction of the major tee intersection of Chandler Heights and Greenfield Road.
This project also included the construction of a 1/3 mile long Con-Arch drainage structure, extensive improvements to the RWCD canal crossing and the widening of the existing roadway bridge over the East Maricopa Floodway. The scope of services included the total overall project management associated with the CM@R delivery method for the project. The WOODPATEL team led the oversight of the design and construction involving extensive coordination between utilities, design team, contractor and with the Roosevelt Water Conservation District for this project.
