Eastmark Great Park Phase 4

The Eastmark Great Park Phase 4, is a 23-acre public park phase of the overall 100-acre Great Park network developed by Brookfield at Eastmark and owned and operated by the City of Mesa. Phase 4 featured approximately 4 acres of active playground themed as a “Chutes and Ladders” design with an elevated adventure play structure, bridges, climbing obstacles, tree house, and various slides, 13 acres of meandering community bicycle and pedestrian trails, and 6 acres of dual purpose lake, serving irrigation demands for the park and an opportunity for recreational fishing. Large turf areas make up the remaining portions of the park, with hardscape throughout to interconnect the various park areas and a surface parking lot to serve the playground area. The park included integrated regional drainage facilities for flood protection for adjacent neighborhoods.
