WOODPATEL provided Civil Engineering for a 15-acre Car-Free Community in Tempe, Arizona. The project is a mixed-use development that includes various commercial uses, work-live facilities, and 2-3 story multifamily structures to create an urban setting. The overall site layout and amenities encourage walking, biking, and other forms of alternative transportation. The WOODPATEL scope includes off-site roadway design, mass grading, master utility planning, on-site grading, drainage, water, sewer, and storm drain design. In addition, we also assisted the client with the site logistics of phasing the on-site construction.
