District 2 Hashen Kehk Community Center

WOODPATEL provided complete civil design services for this hillside split-level facility. Challenges included steep terrain on a site adjacent to the Gila River, a multi-level building; ADA access; and flexible design to allow for Client changes and value engineering. Off-site improvements included paving plans for the adjacent three-quarter-mile access roadway. WOODPATEL closely coordinated this design directly with the design team and Tribal staff.
