ASU Polytechnic Campus Solar Site
The 7 -acre project included two solar arrays with an energy generation of approximately 805 KW on the ASU Polytechnic Campus. The site meets local jurisdictional stormwater requirements and minimizes site earthwork. Therefore, Stormwater constraints necessitated a small berm around the site’s perimeter to provide retention, with a slight diversion swale to redirect off-site runoff. The site’s interior was left at the existing grade and cleared of vegetation/debris. WOODPATEL provided value to the project by reducing the amount of site earthwork and helping coordinate the location of proposed Salt River Project (SRP) electrical conduits. In addition, WOODPATEL prepared improvement plans, including grading and drainage, stormwater retention facilities, service drive, stormwater pollution prevention, site surveying, and site boundary.
