AC Marriott at Tempe Town Lake

WOODPATEL is the civil engineer for the new AC Marriott Hotel at Tempe Town Lake. This 6-story, 150-room hotel is situated within the existing Hayden Ferry Lakeside mixed-use development. Additional amenities include a rooftop pool and exercise area, meeting rooms, media salons, and a library common space providing guests with an opportunity to work and gather. The AC Hotel brand is the first European import by Marriott. Founded in Spain, the hotel offers an urban, business traveler environment. WOODPATEL provided all preliminary and final civil engineering services for this project. Site challenges included incorporating storm drainage into a complex existing system draining into public right-of-way and the Tempe Town Lake.
