Founding Partner

A recognized professional talent in the Arizona civil engineering industry, Darrel Wood officially retired in December 2020 from WOODPATEL. After more than 40 years serving clients in the private and public sectors, particularly related to entitlement work, urban redevelopment, and challenging drainage assignments, Darrel was known and respected for advancing clients’ goals and adding value to large scale public and private complex projects. He was involved in a number of landmark projects throughout Arizona. Darrel also led WOODPATEL’s relationship with St Mary’s Food Bank, the world’s first food bank, for 20 years.
