Powerline Channel

WOODPATEL designed the Powerline Channel to replace the existing FRS, which a documented earth fissure has compromised. The project develops three miles of the flood control channel, including a box culvert with utility relocations at Baseline Avenue, riprap and soil cement erosion protection, and grade control structures. The channel is designed to convey more than 14,600 cubic feet per second and discharges to the rehabilitated Vineyard Road FRS. WOODPATEL developed low-bid and Job Order contract documents on schedule and within budget.
