Tom Gettings is a Registered Land Surveyor who began providing survey services in 1983. He is a Vice President of the firm who maintains WOODPATEL’s Native American relationships and manages the Land Survey Department. Tom is an active member of the Arizona Association of Economic Development (AAED) Tribal Economic Development Committee (TEDC) and an active Board Member of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Arizona. He is experienced with Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) procedures and has worked closely with several Native American Communities throughout Arizona.
Tom’s public works surveying experience encompasses roadways, utility improvements, highways, railroads, and flood control projects. Tom’s expertise includes control, topographic, boundary, right-of-way, and survey legal matters. He is involved with the Arizona Professional Land Surveyors Association and is on the State of Arizona Board of Technical Registration Enforcement Advisory Committee. This involvement gives Tom a unique opportunity to stay abreast of current surveying issues and add value to clients. His unique background allows him to focus on the big picture of public works projects.
