Resiliency and Sustainability

Resiliency and Sustainability

As engineers, we have a responsibility to protect the environment in tandem with our client and community needs toward a commitment to resiliency and sustaibability.

We believe in resiliency, sustainability and environmental stewardship.  This applies internally to our company as a whole as well as the communities in which we live, work, and play. We know that our daily practices have monumental power for good or ill, and we are determined to be a positive influence in the world.

The key to sustainability is finding thoughtful solutions to design. This means not only considering the long-term needs of a community, but also balancing that with the ecological demands of the environment and cost-saving applications that bring a net benefit back to the community. With every project we take on, we develop client-specific solutions with sustainability in mind.

Resiliency and Sustainability

We employ and empower LEED® Sustainability accredited personnel.

We are committed to LEED projects and specifying environmentally friendly materials and special re-use of materials in specifications and details.

Our thoughtful design protects sensitive environments by performing low impact design and light touch techniques where appropriate to blend projects with the natural terrain.

Connecting With Community

Our involvement in the community includes initiatives such as donating to charities that plant trees and assistance with reforestation.

Involvement with community projects provide an improved life for the less fortunate. This includes charitable practices, such as matching every employee donation to St. Mary’s Food Bank, dollar-for-dollar.
