Covering 73 acres in southwest Phoenix, Winco Foods constructed an 863,000 square-foot, dock-high distribution center on an aggressive schedule. Coordination with an out-of-state architect, owner, and consulting engineers required extensive and timely communication. WOODPATEL prepared the site plan and provided off-site paving, signing, and striping plans. The on-site scope included grading and drainage, fire line, stormwater management, and private water and sewer plans. Also included in the scope of services was design of two sanitary sewer lift stations and construction staking.
