Municipal Buildings

The growth of south Gilbert required the construction of a Temporary Fire Station at Power Ranch Master-Planned Community as the rural area was experiencing tremendous growth including neighboring Queen Creek. The facility accommodated approximately 5 firefighters on duty each day which included a 1,000 square-foot building on approximately 1-half acre along Power Road. Wood/Patel provided civil engineering services for this facility including grading and drainage design to accommodate the off-site drainage requirements and on-site retention storage. In addition, water and sewer service design was provided with approvals through the Town of Gilbert and Maricopa County Environmental Services Department.
