Wood/Patel Promotes Michael Young to Chief Executive Officer
Civil Engineering Firm Continues to Expand Resources to Accommodate Growth
(March 21, 2014 – Phoenix, AZ) – Wood/Patel, Arizona’s #1 civil engineering firm (Ranking Arizona – the Best of Arizona Business, 2001-2014), announced that Michael Young P.E., is promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Young served as Senior Vice President for the Land Development Division for the past 16 years.

Mike lends over 20 years of engineering expertise to a wide range of clientele in both the public and private sectors. With an emphasis on developing long-lasting relationships, he strives to provide technical engineering solutions that add value for our clients. Michael appreciates the importance of understanding his clients’ business. He finds it personally rewarding to serve as an extension of their teams and is committed to building legacies for the clients and communities Wood/Patel serves. This experience spans a broad area of responsibilities, including large-scale land development of master planned communities, site development projects and infrastructure projects involving transportation, drainage, water and wastewater. These projects involve many client sectors such as single and multi-family residential; higher education and healthcare campuses; industrial, office and municipal complexes; retail and shopping center developments; public works and renewable energy.
In his new role, Mike will advance the firm’s vision to the future and be responsible for the daily operations of the firm.
