National Engineers Week – February 19th – 25th
At Wood/Patel, we celebrate all engineers who study and strive to provide the best quality of life within our communities. This national holiday always falls on the week which encompasses George Washington’s birthday of February 22nd. President Washington is considered not only one of our nation’s founding fathers but also as the nation’s first engineer, notably for his survey work. Started in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers, National Engineers Week brings attention to the societal contributions engineers make, as well as emphasizing their importance and need in the world.
