Pima Road to Dobson Road, DMB Associates, Inc., Scottsdale
 Thompson Peak Parkway is a 6-lane, divided, major arterial roadway located in DC Ranch in north Scottsdale . Wood/Patel worked in conjunction with the City of Scottsdale and developers in establishing the roadway alignment from Pima Road , southeasterly to the southern DC Ranch boundary. This segment is approximately 3 miles in length and will ultimately connect the Thompson Peak Parkway alignment at Bell Road with Pima Road to the north. Wood/Patel was responsible for establishing the horizontal and vertical alignments, intersection spacing and locations, design of all drainage structures, grade separated pedestrian underpasses, underground utilities, coordination of dry utilities, and signalized intersections. The Parkway was designed to include a northbound off ramp from Pima Road , which eliminated the need for traffic to stop at the intersection with Pima Road . The Parkway spans the Reata Wash with a 2-span bridge 300 feet in length with numerous underpasses for pedestrian traffic and drainage. The services provided by Wood/Patel include alignment study, survey, plan preparation, specifications, quantities, and engineer's estimate.
