Project Engineers (P.E. required)

Six years of design experience of land development (residential or commercial) or transportation and drainage projects. Energetic, self-motivated professional with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks. Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary as well as technical competency, effective decision making, budget control, client maintenance and team building skills.

Project Managers

The Project Manager professional directs and administers the activities of in-house and outsourced teams for client services, schedules, and participates in the technical resources necessary for overall project completion and assures high quality services with a heavy emphasis placed on client satisfaction.  The active practice of leadership and management skills are essential to this position.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.  Must have demonstrated ability to plan, organize, supervise, coordinate technical work and satisfy clients.  Proven track record of successful client interaction including initiating contacts, negotiating contracts, ensuring client satisfaction, and securing referrals.

Engineers in Training/Recent P.E. - CAD Designer

Work with project management team to further your career. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and EIT registration required. Design with AutoCAD Civil 3D, utilizing Microsoft programs and industry design software. Experience in technical writing and generating reports and improvement plan production. Water and sewer system computer modeling and analysis of engineering data in addition to land survey data. Transportation and drainage experience a plus. Project coordination and research as well as interaction with consultant design team. Organization, time management, and communication skills are essential.

Public Works Director

The Public Works Director is responsible with directing and administering the activities of the Public Works team including water resources, water/wastewater, transportation/traffic and construction management.  Ensures the quality, accuracy, and completeness for Divisional work; adherence to design standards and project schedules; and provides adequate training, technical and administrative guidance, and instruction to personnel within the Division. Actively participates in business development for the Division.

The ideal candidate will have proven skills in time management, effective decision making, budget control, and team building skills.

This position requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering plus an Arizona P.E. with 12+ years of relevant experience.

Vice President of Public Works

The Vice President will have business development, client satisfaction and P & L responsibility for our client’s growing needs.  The ideal candidate will be a seller-doer that desires ownership in the firm.  We are seeking a transformative leader with technical skills who will lead the pursuits of projects and oversee the successful delivery of projects.

The Vice President must have a proven track record in mentoring and developing employees, managing the workforce, communicating effectively at all levels within the organization and leading through influence.

Required experience and skills:

  • Minimum of 15 years of local experience
  • Registered P.E. in the state of Arizona
  • Strong reputation in the field of civil engineering
CAD Techs

Work with team of project managers on residential, commercial and/or public works projects. Experience in roadway plan and profile, grading, drainage, water & sewer systems and land survey. Storm Cad, Microsoft programs, and familiarity with MAG and agency standard details. Minimum of 3years’ experience working in AutoCAD Land Development Desktop and Civil 3D.  MicroStation – experience a plus.

Public Works Senior Technician

This position leads plan production efforts, project coordination and schedules.  Requires experience with InRoads on Micro Station and AutoCAD platforms.  Civil3D experience preferred.  Experience in roadway and drainage design in the public sector.  Skilled in the development of conceptual and design drawings for infrastructure projects including;  transportation (major streets) and water resources (storm drains and hydraulic structures).  Familiarity with local agency standards including MAG necessary.  Requires good communication skills and positive work habits.  This is a great opportunity for the right person.

Water/Wastewater Engineer

This position specializes in water and wastewater master planning; design of well pumping facilities, booster stations, reservoirs, distribution systems, wastewater pumping stations and sewer lines; distribution system modeling; and collection system modeling.  Applicant must have at least a Bachelor’s degree (preference given to Master’s degree) in civil engineering.  A minimum of 6 years experience in water/wastewater planning and design, and registered as a P.E. in Arizona.

Survey Project Manager R.L.S.

The Survey Project Manager R.L.S. will develop scopes, prepare cost proposals, and negotiate contract language; create and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation; develop and maintain client relationships; and maintain quality control throughout project duration.

The ideal candidate will be an Arizona Registered Land Surveyor with 10 years of land surveying experience.  Must have knowledge of public land survey system, Arizona boundary survey minimum standards, competent using Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D software and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
